Mission
We feel that our position has been overlooked in the past and even deemed unimportant. Our mission is to establish a strong example for future house officers to follow. The most important parts of the Alumni Relations position are communication and consistency. Jeff and I are going to personally do anything and everything we can to establish a steady path of communication between the house and the ever-growing group of Alumni. We also recognize that as Alumni you all have lives outside the house (something hard to realize while still living in the house) and an event must be planned out well in advance. Upon asking multiple Alumni we noticed that they all felt that consistency is a necessity. We are going to strive to create an annual event that Alumni will be notified of a full year in advance so that they can start planning for the next one while attending the current event.
Chaz Rumage
I grew up in a military family and have lived all over the country. Upon retirement from the Marine Corps my dad wanted to move back to where he grew up, Kansas. I played 4 sports throughout high school (football, basketball, baseball, track) and graduation from Yucca Valley High School in Southern California. I went to the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on a football scholarship and tore my ACL, MCL, meniscus and cartilage in my right knee. I pledged SAE in Fall of ’07 as a Sophomore and intend to double major in Business and Political Sciences.
Jeff Wilson
